Ok here's my problem guys,

I am using timecode, and I am using a splitter

one goes to the maya 44 the other goes to the phono input on my mixer
that way i can switch from timecode to LP without a problem..

Timecode sounds fine.. but my audio output is lower with the spliter

what do you think?

Yes there is a quality lose that can occur. It all varies depending on the turntable brands.

If you are using v5, the Timecode_bypass option is back and can be used to pass the standard Vinyl through VirtualDJ. Plus you can apply the effects and EQ of VirtualDJ to the output. I would try playing with that option and see if things sound better.

Is this low of output specific to the turntable or the stylus/needle...
Do you think if I get a higher output needle it will help make up for the splitter??

I am currently using orotophon concord pro needles
maybe the digitracks or nightclubs will produce a better sound.

The reason for not using passthorugh is.... I mainly use the computer
but when I go to Vinyl it's because the computer is frozen.(Tell me about it!) I need to keep it out the loop
as a backup.
