I went ahead and downloaded the trial version of virtual dj,but i have no idea if the trial product can accept a mixer so that
i can attach it to my laptop and make my mixer become the mixer on the programs skin or is it the other way around, anyway
Does anyone know if this is possible.

the software does support an external mixer as well as use midi controllers, turntables and cd decks although these options are locked in the trial version.
The trial version is only a small demo to let you find out if its for you or not.
