The Yamaha RM1x works great as a controller for every application I have tried.
the Novation BassStation also works great, but the knobs are a little hard to control.
Even a standard midi keyboard ($10 at a local Alberton's Grocery store) worked just fine to control the software.
They don't look as cool as the consoles you can buy but they work great in the studio when I need them to still perform their designed tasks. It takes some getting used to but it's pretty easy to transition from a megamix into an mp3 transition then back to a live production.
The Roland D2 works well with it as well.
the MC-505 works
MC-909
RS-7000
Just FYI

How did you get a midi keyboard for 10 dollars at albertsons? Can you show me a pic or link to this device?
