vdj checks for new updates, if it moves from 5.0 to 5.1, say "manual install required"
if it moves from 5.07 to 5.08 say "downloading and installing minor bugs and fixes please wait." 30 seconds later, say "done, please restart application"

Good idea and I get what you are saying,
So if a new rev comes out, that just sorts out bugs and minor issues, it just downloads "the patch" and nothing else. Like any other software.
