Hi there,
I would like to know what is the hardware setup procedure and any hardware requirements I need on top of what I have to get the best setup for 2x timecode vinly setup on VDJ for my laptop. Heres what I got, please share your wisdom! hehe :
Dell Precision M90 Workstation
Windows XP SP2, VDJ pro 5 (Dedicated partition / OS)
Intel Core Duo T2700 @ 2.33ghz
NVIDIA Quadro FX 2500M 512MB PCI - Express (not interested in VDJ video mixing though)
2 GB Ram (need more?_
MACKIE D.2 PRO Firewire
Sound Blaster Audigy 2 ZS Notebook via Duel adapter pcmcia to express card interface
2 x Technics SL1200 MKll
Monitor: Bose Lifestyle 18 - Series 3 Home theather system
Let me know if I need to upgrade any of my hardware? I read somewhere in this forum i need an extra soundcard for TCV.

I am not familiar with your soundcard so you'll have to check it out yourself. What you need is a soundcard that has 4 inputs (2 left and right) and 4 outputs (2 left and right). If your soundcard has that you should be all set to go. There is a sticky at the top of this forum that explains how to setup TCV.
