My MK2 is not behaving as in 3.4.1 with the loop buttons but I can't see a mapper for 5.0.7 is one available

Do u mean with the effect button?. Well it was made that way since v4xx pro version so u can activate more than 3 effects at once.
U could try to use the mapper that were made for V5xx by DJ Cel to make it as u were in V3;)

Guess I will just have to change the way I've been using the MK2. Also is there not a STOP rather than Pause option when playing a tune
