I want really troubleshoot this problem because it causes all the annoyances when using Virtual DJ.
I use pretty decent computer. Intel Dual Core 2.8 2GB Ram and 500GB hard disk
Please let me know how to optimizie virtual dj.

I take it you talking about V5.1...? If so have you compared v5.1 to 5.0.7 when it come to system resources..? You may want to launch the task manager when comparing to two versions as this will help identify what resources are going to which programs...! your problems maybe related to some other software within your system... Also you may want to play with the performance bar within the VDJ options..
