Should the alignment of the cbg be in the beginning of the bigger square in the middle?

I've wondered that myself. I think it doesn't really matter, actually, as long as you mark it the same for all your tracks and loops, right?

It has to be in the middle, that's the way virtual dj puts them when it scans a file

Alignment for the big square could be in the beginning of each bar...
This is the way I do it, so that I can easily tell what is the first beat of a bar in the middle or the end of a song, and then easily mix to another song, by using the first beat of a bar in that song too
as a result I have the following:
If the BIG squares for both songs are aligned to eachother, boths songs start/beatmix on the first beat of a bar = A LOT BETTER sounding mixing!!!
