MICROPHONES & Master

Microphones are not part of the XDJ-AZ USB bus, and they cannot be routed directly to VirtualDJ.
However, the Record LoopBack of XDJ-AZ includes the microphones sound, and therefore
they can be both recorded and broadcasted alongside the main mix
- MIC ON/OFF. Toggle the sound of each microphone input on/off. When a microphone is audible it's sound can be recorded and/or broadcasted via the Record LoopBack audio channels of XDJ-AZ USB bus.
- TALKOVER. Toggle "talkover" function on/off. When talkover function is active, the sound of the decks get automatically lowered every time you talk to one of the MIC inputs.
- MIC VOLUME. Adjust the level of the corresponding MIC input.
- MIC EQ LOW. Adjust the LOW frequencies for the corresponding MIC input.
- MIC EQ MID. Adjust the MID frequencies for the corresponding MIC input.
- MIC EQ HI. Adjust the HI frequencies for the corresponding MIC input.
- QUANTIZE. Toggle Quantize on/off for all 4 decks. When Quantize is enabled, setting Loops , jumping between hot cue points and starting playback of the deck will snap to the grid (CBG) of the track.
- Master VOLUME. Adjust the level of the Master Output.
- Master CUE (PFL). Press this button to send the audio of the Master Output to your headphones. Please remember, that in order to be able to listen to the Master Output, the "Headphones Mix" knob (10) must also be set accordingly.
- Master OUTPUT VUMETER. Shows the Master output volume of the unit.
- Master EQ LOW. Adjust the LOW frequencies of the Master output.
- Master EQ MID. Adjust the MID frequencies of the Master output.
- Master EQ HI. Adjust the HI frequencies of the Master output.
- BOOTH VOLUME. Adjust the level of the Booth Output.
- USB (TYPE A) PORTS. Connect your USB drives for stand alone playback operation, and optionally stand alone recording. Please advise the XDJ-AZ User Manual for more information.
- USB STOP. Press and hold these buttons to STOP all USB drive operations and prepare the USB drive for safe ejection from XDJ-AZ.
