Professional mobile DJ since 1986 in greater Connecticut (www.musicbydesigndj.com). I love seeing people having fun with music (not necessarily always to dancing, but that's a big part of it). It's incredible the diversity of music that I can enjoy and play - where else but with a Mobile DJ can you play classical, big band (swing), hip-hop, punk, disco, rock, club, R&B, blues, polkas, klezmer, broadway, country, soul, reggae, salsa, tango, cha-cha's and novelty songs all in ONE gig? What's amazing to me is how much better I can program and mix the music using software like Virtual DJ - who could have predicted the features we have at our fingertips 35 years ago! And the selection of music that we have access to today is nothing short of a miracle - this is what keeps me spinning!
