How do I carry my database with me in my HDD. I use VDJ 3 which saves the database in drive C, so when am mixin from a different computer other than mine I at times I have a hard time coz I have to wait for the songs to load or wait for calculation of bpm. I don't want to move up n use higher versions of VDJ, I like VDJ3. Any help will be appreciated

Unfortunately you'll have to either copy your database each time back and forth to your ext HDD, or upgrade to latest version of VDJ. There's no other way AFAIK...

I have tried coping n pasting the database in the external HDD, but how do you configure VDJ to read the database from the new path?

You didn't understand what I said. You copy and paste it BACK AND FORTH between your machines... You can't configure VDJ to read it from another location.
