Intel HD graphics 4000 card. Apparently videos on serato run flawlessly

Serato Video won't run on Intel graphics cards under Windows - it actually refuses completely.

SBDJ. Thanks for your help. Ill follow the instructions and let you know if it works. But for real, I run Serato DJ or rather ITCH videos under the Win 8 platform and works well. Every Sunday afternoon when I'm jamming at the club...

I'm setting up my new laptop and have found that several of my .VOB and MPEG2 video files kind of stutter along, the audio is fine. These are videos that have worked fine for years on my old dell and they play ok on my new laptop with windows media player.
new laptop is a i7 with a nvidia 3gig video card,16 gig ram.I'm playing them off of internal hard drive.
I converted 180 of the mpeg2 files to mp4 and they now work fine but the .vob files are worse if converted to mp4.

first of all let me tell you I had the same problem and tried all solutions given here using k-lite x86 x64, drivers and bios update etc, but none of them worked, the main problem is not from the graphics video card but from vdj internal video decoder, it seems to be buggy with mpg and vob files, so after testing some other solutions I finally found one that worked without the neccesity to convert all my mpg and vob videos to mp4, let me make some other tests and I'll let you know if is stable.

Let me give you my results. When I first started ALL my videos were ripped to .vob. We are talking thousands. My test consisted of playing 5 days a week, 7 hours a day, sometimes 14. Mobile gigs on Sat and Sun. I have never converted those videos, and still play them today. I use the codecs that came with VDJ, and have never used anything else, and have never had a problem. We have the same software, only different machines. I have had different machines over the years, and it was the same. My .vob files play.

the problem with my laptop is with windows 8 and intel hd video cards, with windows 7 everything is fine using vdj video decoder.

I finally solved the problem by installing elecard mpg plugin.

well, the problem is with mpg and vob files actually they both are the same format, with mp4 there are no problem using vdj decoder, so I tried the different mpg decoders from the different companies some of them are independent so is not possible to add them to wmp, elecard designed this plugin specifically for wmp as you can see and this way when installing just tick add to wmp and the plugin works, I tried with win 7 and it didn´t work the videos still lagged, it only worked for win 8, I tested for 5 hours and all videos played well.

I tested with 64 bits I don't use 32 bits.

Installed the new VDJ8 and all of my videos work perfectly, glad the problem wasn't my laptop :)
