Tópico: [NEW] VirtualDJ 7.1 - Page: 6

Esta parte del tópico es antigua y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Ok, here is what my machine does...

- WiFi on
- real time mp3 recording from mixer tape out
- creating lightscribe cd label
- searching utoob for a couple's request
- editing an mp3 in audacity
- oh, and vdj playing in the background w/o as much a hiccup or burp.

At the same time. Now to be fair, I don't use timecodes or vinyl, but for the properly tuned rig, you should have no issues.

Does any body know if the loop bug was addressed?

Completely compatible with Lion/Mountain Lion??

Anyone know. I have not updated yet...

No, it never made it to the final build.

VirtualDJ runs with no issues under the latest OSX.

Eh...guess I'll just wait....I was hoping colored wave forms would make it to the update. 7.05 works for what I use it for right now. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. :D

any chance that the L.E version users get this update ?

Depends which version of LE your console came with and whether the manufacturer approves it.

what is the ID3 tags update??
In what way was it broken?

As i dont use netsearch or controllers, this the only update that applys to me (maybe)

And can somebody explain to me what "increased refresh frequency for HID/MIDI controllers" means.

It's how often the LED's are updated (Refreshed.) For controllers with jogwheel LED's that indicate the disc position, this will result in smoother movement.

Thanks :'(

There are many bugfixes in the code already but not woth to give detailed information about every changed byte of the code.

There was a problem with some UTF characters and the correct translation and this get's fixed.

Greets, Heiko

Just a quick question, does anyone know if 8 is going to support the Denon sc2900's?
Im moving back from Serato as soon as they are supported...

Good chance of that ;)

The thread in your link states that assign_controller would be "looked at and fixed in version 8".

Not quite. *I* asked when version 8 was going to be released, because at the time we all thought version 8 was going to be the next version.

djdad actually says:

(Emphasis mine)

Cant test right now.. but did you try :

deck 1 assign_controller 'CDJ400' (single ' )
Also ... if you have 2, it might be logic of 'CDJ400-1' and 'CDJ400-2'

But if its broken, i'll put it on bug list notification for dev team.

My laptop's in for repair at the moment. I'll try it in the next week or so and let you know.

Cheers!
