So I d/l Pacemaker the apple app for my iPad Air, to just play around when I'm listening to my playlists.
I found it to be very helpful as in a "Lab" environment. I am able to try different mix points and blends while listening to new music.
I was also thinking this would be very handy as an "emergency backup" for a gig. (Not club)
So, my question, and/or wish, will Virtual DJ have (or did I miss it) an App like this? I have bought the $10 remote app but haven't really ever used it in a gig for fear that it will crash, and also because I haven't ever really seen the need for it.
However, an app like this I see it being very useful. It even has a way to record the mixes you do (I haven't used that feature yet)
If anyone wants me to further talk about pacemaker I will. But this is more to find out if VDJ has something like this in mind for future development.

It was reported several years ago that VDJ 8 will be "multi platform" and run on iOS.
Exactly which iOS it'll require is another question. It's becoming increasingly difficult to find new releases that support the 1st gen iPad.
How many of the features will carry over from the full software to the app version.......is another question.
If there'll be an Android version (since DJ apps have started to appear for Android)..........is another question.
