Este tópico es antiguo y puede contener información incorrecta para la nueva versión.

Hi guys I upgraded to version 8 earlier but non of my track details that were analyzed in version 7 are showing (bpm/key/play count etc)

Is there a way to transfer this over to the new version?

It should happen automatically...
Which drive contains your media files ?
C ?
Or another ?

They're on my C drive in the standard 'my music' folder

Also where can I find a manual for version 8? Can't seem to find it

Manual is in Start> All Programs> VirtualDJ> UserGuide

Keith

Cheers Keith, got that. Still no idea how to import previously scanned track info

IMO it's worth rescanning in 8 because the key recognition is better than it was in 7.

Inside Documents\VirtualDj folder there's a database.xml file and a "folders" subfolder

Delete both and start VirtualDj.
It should read your V7 database and show up everything on V8

The word delete scares the life out of me Phantom lol are u sure nothing will be lost ??

Make a copy of them first then, and store them somewhere out of the way.

Also Recycle Bin is there for a very good reason... :P

How do I get my cached items from content unlimited over to Virtual DJ 8 ??
