Just downloaded the Milkdrop pluggin, the version for VDJ8 and ran the exe file and it said installation was sucessfull.
The pluggin is available on the drop down list within VDJ8, however it says (incompatible) and when I try to go into it's settings or activate it I get a message to tellme so.
What have I done wrong as I've heard people are using this?

Hi SBDJ.
I already have the latest version of Direct X (well the latest available version as this is on an XP machine - I havent yet installed VDJ8 on gig computers, just one at home for testing).

Make shure that you have current direcX9 installed also, cause that is the version most plugins require.
So even if you have dX10 or 11, you still need dX9. Just follow the link that Scott has postet...

just to point out, windows doesn't update dirextX 9 through windows update so everyone needs to verify their dx9 with SBDJ's link.
