Hi,
I remember with v7 when I have a controller hooked up and I find a certain spot and cue it, it would also set a hot cue at that point too and would still act at cue where I can hold it and it would play then I release and it would stop.
Is that functionality different in 8? What command(s) should I use in CUE to make this happen?

In VirtualDJ v8, the CUE button only sets a temporary cue point, which is forgotten once you load a different song. This is to prevent accidentally messing up cue points that you have already set in a song (Normally once set you have set cue points, you don't want to change them by accident.)
To set a permanent cue point, either press the HOT CUE buttons on your controller (If it has these) or press the on-screen HOT CUE buttons of the v8 skin.
