I do understand that a simple touch of the "tap" button would fix the problem but should we really have to do that? If you set to cue to the first beat, shouldn't the beat marker and beat grid also set itself to the first beat?

in a perfect world i would say u are right ... but since we are here have u tried to rescan the track fixes loads of mine but not always ... also i am pretty sure there will be always be some tracks u will need to fix the grid yourself on.

Other tracks, it cue's the first beat 10.9 seconds into the track.

With all due respect, I should not have to adjust the first beat when the software has a setting to cue to the first beat. It should just work properly.
I mean, I have nearly 100k tracks... don't want to have to worry about setting the first beat on them.

Seems to work well enough here (I tried about five tracks).
Perhaps if you stated which tracks you've used in the above examples, it would allow others to confirm...

Of the five tracks you tried, how many cue'd on the first beat, since you said "well enough"?
Literally none of the tracks I try cue to the first beat, so either I have a setting wrong or the software is not working correctly. All my tracks are at 320Kbs and tagged properly.
Any help, would be appreciated.

Here was the reply from my ticket...
"First Beat does not always seems to be detected properly now."
Well, nor does the "skip silence" option either...
Can we fix this please guys... cue'ing, in my opinion should work. The fact that NO ONE from VDJ responded tells me that they don't have a fix.
