i like to get songs ready in advance by zooming out the waveform and lining them up but when i press play it moves the song to 10 seconds or so before the track starts. Is there any way to get rid of this limit? I'd like to have the option of lining up multiple tracks this way and start them whenever i please.

I think I understand, you actually rewind a track to before it's physical start and press play very early.
Unfortunately there isn't much us users can do about this.
I did make a request around this idea, (I never thought about this aspect, but it makes reasonable sense) some people liked it, some didn't, but as per usual Atomix said nothing.

in settings there's a lead in time.. you can set it in seconds, another workaround is looping the 1st section

lead time is TimeCode, I've yet to try if it has any effect without TC.
