running virtual dj 8 latest built for the mac side, anyone else notice music distorting while mixing?
i have to play with the gain levels even after reanalyzing (just to be safe) i set it to auto (was on auto+remember)
but when i do critical listening thru monitors i can hear the distortion. quickly turn on vdj 7 same song passages don't distort.
also my sampler has distorted from day one, even when i fiddle with the gain in the sampler editor.

What is the BPM of the samples when they distort?
Are you trying to play a stock kick sample with a track of ~80 BPM?

Ive tried the kicks samples w all kinds bpm. Its set on sync-lock. The only one that does not distort is kick-snare

what version of vdj8 is that i don't see a master VU meter or a limiter indicator?
also i tested and i do not hear distortion with the same stock loops that you are using
i am using windows maybe its different on mac i am not sure but that problem doesn't exist in windows version
