Hello, my video and karaoke files were playing just fine on vdj 7. However something strange is happening in VDJ 8. Ex. Videos play but black out after a few minutes. As for the karaoke files, samething, and some don't even display.

Dell xps 1710
12 meg ram
Dedicaded video card 4 ram
I'm sure it has something to do with my configuration.

looked up the specs for your laptop
Processor type Intel Core™ Solo processor or Intel Core Duo processor
L1 cache 64 KB
L2 cache 2 MB
External bus frequency (front side bus) 533 MHz or 667 MHz
Maximum memory 4 GB (via 2 x 2 GB SODIMM DDR-II modules)

256 MB or 512 MB
what dedicated video card do you have?
pretty sure you need 1gb ram for video to have any success with video playback ??
if you happen to have the 256 MB video option I'm sure that's the issue.

Dedicated DDR3 RAM
-Video card must support dual
-screen output
