2 things you can try...
1. if not already, try upgrading to the latest 2.22 denon asio driver
or
2. using the denon in wasapi mode rather than asio

Previously used 2.22 but it was for the MK1 not MK2 and having both was causing conflicts. what is wasapi?
Mensajes Wed 25 Mar 15 @ 10:18 pm
1.01 has issues on 64bit systems (not sure what you are running)
wasapi = windows audio session api or windows own low latency alternative for asio...
you should be able to find the denon soundcard in audio settings with wasapi mentioned...

If you're using MC600MK2 you should install and use Denon Dj ASIO for controllers drivers. Not the older drivers for older devices.
Older drivers were NOT designed to work with MC6000MK2.

Maybe its a combination of HP and the Denon driver.
Here are more people with HP and this driver error.

I think there's some confusion about Denon ASIO driver... and Denon does not help to clarify.
On product page of Denon DN-MC6000 (first version) (http://denondj.com/products/view/dn-mc6000#.VRQMmXk5C70) there's a link to Denon ASIO Driver ver 2.22 with file date 01/11/2011
But, on product page of Denon DN-MC6000 MK2 (the second version) (http://denondj.com/products/view/mc6000mk2#.VRQMRXk5C70) there's a link to Denon ASIO Driver ver 1.0.1 with file date 05/11/2013
The link to download it are:
Ver 2.22 - 01/11/2011

Actually I use the versione 2.22, with DN-MC6000 (firs version) on HP ProBook 4540s, with Windows 8.1 Pro x64, without any problem with VDJ 7 and VDJ 8.

As GianVJ said:
The correct drivers for MC6000MK2 can be downloaded from denon's product page for MC6000MK2:
http://denondj.com/products/view/mc6000mk2#.VRQSfvmsV8E
And the direct link is the one GianVJ posted.
MC6000 (MK1) is another story...

ok, but again... why is this driver not an issue with vdj7, but a huge issue with vdj8???
Mensajes Thu 26 Mar 15 @ 1:56 pm
Using a wrong driver is like having a defective time bomb in your hands. You never know when it goes to blow off...
And trust me since I had to search very hard to resolve some issues with device, the wrong drivers can cause malfunctions / unexpected behavior with VirtualDj 7 and Serato as well...
It's not that the software (VirtualDj 8) behaves bad. It's the fact that it exposes a vulnerability of the wrong drivers. Same thing can happen with Serato which comes bundled with the device!
PS:
You should always use the recommended drivers for all of your devices. If a manufacturer recommends something, it does so for a reason. The fact that MC6000MK2 works with the drivers of the original MC6000 (MK1) does not mean that these drivers are safe to use. The same goes for any kind of drivers for any device...

.. and let me remind here once again, that this thread is for Regression bugs ONLY. Meaning that if something is not working well with this specific build, but was working with older ones, then report here. If the same issue is present in older builds, then use the Bug Report thread.

Please limit this to regression bugs

This IS a regression bug. because these issues did not exist 3-4 builds ago. however the wasapi workaround has worked great for the last 2 full shows
