Is this working for anybody?
Its NOT been working for me for a very long time in v8
Here is what i'm doing:
Find an album that i once ripped in older ripping software. (where the filename is correct but the tag info parsed as Artist Track 1 etc
Press [ctrl] A to select all the tracks in the album
Right mouse clic and select Batch / Parse Filenames
Nothing happens.
the info remains untouched/unchanged.
I can reproduce this on any album of tracks that were originally created this way.
[edit 1] Yes i could use "Tag Editor" and manually correct this, OR i could use some mp3 tag and rename app but i would just like virtualdj to have a go at correcting this too :)

You can select all the files, open the tag editor, and use the options button between artist and title field, which shows the option 'Get Title/Artist from file name'
Since this is available from the tag editor, maybe the option from right-click -> batch -> parse filenames should be removed, since it may not be clear enough that it could screw up your tags.
