How do I setup VDJ 8 to randomly choose video transitions from a certain transition folder Ive set up??

You can create a folder called 'Ignore' and move the transitions you don't want to be used for random selection into that.

There is no way to specify a folder, no.
I haven't done any testing with v7 selectRVT in v8; I did create a v8 version but with the same functionality built in there is no reason to release it.

Hmm I'll have to do some reading of the manual tonight then because I've put everything except the transitions I want to use into a folder and when I start VDJ I get an error saying there is no transitions and then when it does open everything I don't want to use is there again.......
Maybe you could release your version but add the folder functionality to it since we have no way of choosing a group with the stock version 😏
