On the default skin, the displayed gain level for a track in the infobox never matches the level it is actually set at with the slider. What is going on here? Is there some kind of autoleveling happening in the background? If so, can I disable this behavior?
I manually set gain levels on a per-song basis elsewhere, and I want to use these values, so as I'm putting songs in, I want to manually set the gain level and have VDJ remember what it was set to, so I've selected the "remember" gain setting. But these conflicting numbers are driving me nuts and I'm not sure what's internally going on. My best guess is that if I want a song to be played at -7 db, it should say -7.0 db on the infobox and not be -7 db on the gain slider.

The value on the gain slider is relative to the "normalized" gain by default.
Change the setting "gainsliderincludesautogain" to no and try again.
