I have apple music and have all my music downloaded, but when I open virtual DJ all my playlists are there but there is nothing in them. How can I get my music on the app?

If you're using VDJ, you don't need to involve iTunes at all. Just point VDJ to the folder which contains your music.

if you are referring to the apple music streaming service these can not be played by any software other then iTunes or another apple product. like a iPhone or iPod.
