When I try to load songs to a deck a message reading error appears on the deck that I was trying to drag the song to. Only a handful of songs work and load properly. The rest have red x marks through their musical note icons on the left hand side of the search screen and will not load. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Usually happens when you have moved the file (song) on your computer, outside of VDJ. The file path no longer points to their location. Either move them back to where they were and then move them within VDJ or highlight the tracks, remove them from search db and then add them back.

I forgot where I had put the files originally. Do you know where to put the files on a mac in order for virtual dj to relocate them?

Also, "remove from search db" does not do anything for me
