Oh there are so many that either don't work in VDJ as they're supposed to, or result in the "not compatible" message. I've given up listing them here as I'm not aware of it ever resulting in any action.

This one downloads and compiles but doesn't display anything at all in VDJ 64 bit on PC.

Maybe one day the Atomix devs will look at why some of these shaders don't work properly in VDJ and fix things...

From time to time i check the shadertoy community looking for new exciting ones, but these are quite boring, uninspired or little worked and the most part of them variations of already seen patterns.
Is it me or the shader hype is dead (at least related to VDJ)?

i check for new shaders every few weeks. so far i'm up to 1300+ in my library and Klaus and i collaborate on making packs for users to download that pretty much work for most systems - even the underpowered ones - so that there's a decent variety.
granted the shaders arent' specifically being made for us and as far as i know they don't have anyone on staff to make company specific ones... HINT HINT.....

Yeah I added a couple of new ones after seeing this thread had been awoken.
IMO once you've got a large number of them installed, you have enough visual variation going on, so adding more becomes less important. Just over 500 here.

no need to private message. they're for everyone to use or not as they see fit. Klaus and i collaborated on this one and the previous and now have Ed Carey's helping on the Mac side of it as well.

Believe it! (Lol)...I download everyday,but do so on my prefered 32 bit..so a lot on the site wont install...one small trick i do is screengrab the ones that wont install on my 32 bit ( i do have another Alienware 17 running w10,64bit,but its not a 18 inch screen..so screengrab them and make video clips to use on the vdj sampler...one thing instead of just thumbnails ...i wish it would show the actual name on that gui shader selector...would help in sorting out when one becomes a pain...
