I'm having a terrible time with sound issues with VDJ2018.
- One song cancelling the other out when bass is full
- After mixing 1 or 2 tracks the sound quality drops
- Syncing will work perfectly one minute, then when I try mixing the exact same tracks it sounds terrible
- Deck 1 sounds way lower than deck 2
I've tried turning MasterTempo off, turning autokey off, zerodb is at -6. I've tried mucking about with the settings. Most of these kick in after the second or third mix. The bass cancelling out the track on the other deck even happens when I've completely killed the bass.
I'm using the Lenovo G580 laptop, and the controller is Numark Party Mix (I know this is cheap but I have the same problems when only using the laptop).

Could you make a short recording of the issue? Might be easier to identify what the problem might be.
Few things you didn't mention, so just to be sure:
-autoGain is on auto?
-your gain knob is in the center?
