you doesn't use the newest version. The size of textzone (artist and trackname) are correct since last update.
The correct size of the cuetext comes on the next update.

My interfase reads:3.0.7. I thought it was the latest. I there a new one. I keep re-installing the skin to get the update.

There's clearly an issue with the way the extensions area works in VDJ...as it doesn't work properly.
I can tell from the difference in the key display of the skin that I don't have the latest version, yet VDJ is not telling me there's a newer version.

Exactly . There is no way of telling in what update you are at the moment but from my screen shot this is what I got:

search in the skin.xml the row

In this row you can change the color.
There are two lines with this content, please change them.
when you found a good color please post the htmk #xxxxxx Code. I will change it for the future.

Uninstall the skin and reinstall from the extention hub.
I have it doawnload just at this moment and i get the 3.0.7.
