Hey guys. I purchased the above controller and set it up today. It hasn't shut off and has been running for at east 2 hrs . I thought it only works for 10 mins or so before stopping. I've just purchased the controller so any advice would be great about purchasing the full licence as said it appears to be working out the box. I'm not using rekordbox which came with it. I'm using virtual dj 2020.
Also I purchase a home licence for vdj 7 years ago if that helps.

Depends on your account. I'm guessing you're signed in to the software.
I though Pro Legacy was a previously Numark Cue license but who knows?

Yes I'm signed in and I just noticed after switching off the controller and shutting down vdj , it said 29 days left so I now assume it's a free 30 day trial ? I'm also updating the firmware as we speak

yep that's the trial, full pro or subscription needed once your 30 days are up.

Yes indeed. Pro will be needed. Been using vdj since 2004 as a laptop dj . Mastered it using my laptop . Mapped my keys. Always impressed crowds . They would say he looks like hes playing a keyboard that's how much I got it locked but the controller is going to take me a while to get use to. Seems more difficult but that's because if I've spent years on the keyboard lol

best way to learn the sw in my opinion, I've a controller and 3 auxiliaries but my keyboard mapping is burnt deep into memory.
