First time poster here lol. Using a NS7III and VDJ2021. The capabilities of the update seem great and creates a plethora of options when mixing live. The issue I am having is how to map the software so that the hardware performs correctly...
It was causing clipping on the bass side of sound. I just lowered the overall volume to overcompensate and push through the set. I tried using different options of the master/headphone outputs and channels to see if that would help but it did not. The usb soundcard option did get rid of the clipping but then the sound output was also generated by if the headphone light was triggered and removed the ability to listen to tracks before bringing them in...
Any ideas or tech gods out there that can help?

Set ZeroDB to -6
and AutoGain to Auto
that should give you plenty of headroom and no clipping
