NOISE CANCELLATION

There are headphones with noise cancellation but they are more useful when we travel by bus or plane, since constant sounds are produced "easy to cancel" NOT FOR DJ

As we know these headphones have a microphone that captures the signal from the environment, inverts it and sends it to the headphones producing said noise reduction...

Noise canceling software?
EVERYONE said that it was Impossible for hardware reasons since until the MICROPHONE picks up the sound the software inverts the signal and sends it to the headphones this whole process was too long to deal with to cancel the noise live.

HERE IS THE BEST NOISE CANCELLATION PROGRAM FOR DJ'S I show you how it works.

This Software DOES NOT USE A MICROPHONE! So how does he do?
We DJ's when we want to preview through the headphones what interferes us is the MASTER sound that is coming out of the SPEAKERS at full volume...

WE already have the FILE that is being PLAYED by the MASTER, it is not necessary to CAPTURE it again with a MICROPHONE!
The only thing left to do is INVERT the signal and send it to the HEADPHONES.
This application Works together with the VIRTUAL DJ!
It also comes with an option to generate a fully configurable delay in ms (milliseconds) so that when the sound comes out of the speakers and reaches our ears at that very moment the inverted signal is reproduced through the headphones...

The reason you do need to use microphones on the headphones is because you don't know when the sound will arrive at the headphones or how loud.
You would need at least to be able to specify a different delay for left and right, you'd need to be able to set the volume (since if the volume of your inverted signal doesn't match it will just amplify the sound as well)
Then you have to make sure not to move your head once set up.
Also, reflections in the room would have to be accounted for, as does the frequency response of the speakers and the room.

That said, in not super loud environments, many of the currently available noise-cancelling headsets do work pretty well for dj. (When playing in not too loud environments I often use the Sony WH-1000XM5)
There are also some headphones designed for dj's like the Korg NC-Q1 that probably work even better in loud enviroments.
