It will be nice if we could export samples to equal the same bitrate that the sample was made from. If i made a sample from a 320kbps track, exporting it to 192 is not good. On the other hand exporting a 320 track to FLAC too is ridiculous. Garbage In Garbage Out. 320 shouldnt be able to convert to FLAC. That would be a fake FLAC
But if we have the option to export to a bitrate, that is equal to the bitrate of the track that birthed the sample, that would be perfect.
Thanks and keep up the good work. VDJ gives me life.
VDJ Forever!!!

vdj samples if not flac are .ogg, 192kbps ogg is as good as 320 .mp3

I prefer not having VDJ re-encode. FLAC is fine as it avoids another generation of loss and will play back at the exact quality level of the original (lossy-encoded) file. If you re-encode the sample, even at the same bitrate, it’s (albeit marginal) another generation of loss.
Sure the FLAC isn’t the same as an original FLAC but the FLAC codec places no such requirement, just that the output exactly matches the input.
