Tópico: Sequoia 15.3.1 - updates issue with VDJ
I’ve been using an M1 Mac with VDJ without any issues and successfully used it with a Rev5 last Thursday. Yesterday, I was using my DDJ-1000, and everything was working fine until I tried changing some jogwheel display settings. I had my 2014 Mac connected to the controller for comparison and noticed that some DDJ-1000 settings weren’t displaying the same way on the M1 as they did on the 2014 Mac.

I initially suspected an OS issue since I had installed the latest update earlier in the week. However, after restarting the M1, it wouldn’t reconnect to the controller. I then tried reinstalling the audio drivers and firmware, but that didn’t help.

Today, I attempted to connect the Rev5 again, but it’s not working. I also tested the DDJ-400, and that isn’t connecting either - no signs of the soundcard for any of my controllers and no response from them.

However i did install serato a while ago and it shows my rev5 is connected and i'm able use use it and based on this experience it has lead me to conclude that this is a VDJ issue where the latest mac update (which is a security update) is blocking the connectivity in VDJ with these controllers.

With latest update i'm getting notifications every time I connect a controller to allow it to access the USB device. Maybe you aren't getting prompts and it is just blocking it being accessible. Check you security settings for USB.

At first it was all fine for about a week and then just 1 day while connected to the ddj 1000 and trying to change a hardware setting the mess began. So after a while I wasn't getting anything like what u mentioned and the prompts have always been there. It just stopped connecting to any device.

What settings did you mess up with ?
Check disableBuiltinDefinitions setting and make sure it's set to NO
