Tópico: Importing a USB to computer
Is there a way to take a USB that was made with CDJ export and do the reverse importing all of the tracks + playlists on the USB to the computer so that the files sit on the computers hard drive and playlists become part of the computers VDJ library insted of just being on the USB?

Thanks

  • Make sure the option Auto sync cue points > Import changes made on CDJs is enabled on the drive with the Rekordbox Database

That probably ensures that a VirtualDJ folder containing the database.xml for VirtualDJ metadata is made for the files, and then the songs on the drive becomes part of the VirtualDJ database.
You should be able to load songs and see the changes (cues and grids).
  • If you want to copy those files, with metadata, somewhere else, go to the playlist containing the songs, select the songs you want to import, right click and select File operations > Copy to... and copy the files back into another location. Repeat for as many other playlists/songs you need.

Edit: This only seems to work if VirtualDJ created the Rekordbox library first (it seems to creat the VirtualDJ folder with the database.xml, and updates then get tracked properly), but if DJay was used, for example, to create the Rekordbox library, VirtualDJ sees the songs but not the cue point updates (b8950).
