But would it be possible to add a check box or some sort of karaoke mode?
On nights I do karaoke I have people just requesting songs. So even if there was a check box that would let people choose if they wanted to sing or not.
And possibly having a setting in the setup page to turn karaoke mode on and off.

+1 for this. Ask the dj needs a feature rich upgrade. Other than the added ability to accept electronic payments from more than 1 vendor, it's been neglected for quite some time.
