Whenever I burn my mixes onto a CD, every place that I cut a track, there is a skipping noise. Is the feature shoddy, or is there a specific way to do it?

Are you using disc at once? Even if you are some burning programs still leave one frame (1/75th of a second) of silence in between tracks.
