Just got the Audigy sound card. I have an external mixer
and would like to set the whole thing up. I have tried numerous configurations. The Audigy has : Digital Out,
Line In, Microphone, and 2 analog out. Can someone tell me
where to connect everything in detail. I'm ready to go,
I think I have everything I need.
Thanks, Niki

First of all, you need the full version. There you must set "3D soundcard + mixer" in the sound config and choose your soundcard driver.
Then you plug the rear and front out of your soundcard to the line-in of channel 1 and 2 on your mixer. If you want to record, plug the record-out of your mixer to the line-in on your soundcard.
That´s all. I hope, it helps. If not, please write again!

I do have the full version. What do you mean by choose your sound card driver ?
If I plug the rear and front out to channel 1 and 2 of the
mixer, where do the speakers on the soundcard go, So I may
listen to the music.

In the sound config there is a scoll down menu where you must select your driver.
Sorry, I forgot the speakers! On your mixer you can find a master out too. You must plug it to an amp or a hifi tower where you also plug you speakers in. The headphones use a separate output on your mixer especially for headphones.

Every thing works except the amp keeps cutting out on me
when the volume get a little high. The receiver is a Yamaha
Natural Sound Receiver. I'm not sure what the watt is.
Is there a minimum watt power I should have?
Thanks Niki

You must adjust the gain and/or the master out volume on your mixer! If it´s too loud, you can crash your amp. The volume must be adjusted at the amp.
