I intend to use a USB sound converter for monitoring on my laptop. Will such a device serve as a second sound card?
Does anyone have experience with USB Digital to Analog Converter (Sound Adapter) made by USBGear, http://www.usbgear.com/usa/item_53.html, for monitoring on a laptop?
How does this compare with USB Digital Audio Converter (P-500), made by Telex, http://www.computeraudio.telex.com/products/p500.html
The USBGear device is around $40 and the Telex is around $70, is the Telex converter worth the difference in price?
any help and advice will be greatly appreciated.
