can someone please post the short cuts in a reply? and beside the start recording button in the recording section of atomix, there is a button with scissors called cut...what does this do and what is it used for? thanks

For the short cuts: Click on "Shortcut" in the configuration panel (you see this when you click the (?) button next to the "Record" button).
For the scissors: When you click this button, your record file will be splitted.
