I was wondering if any of you had any luck using a touchscreen mouse (such as the Magic Touch: http://www.magictouch.com/addon.html) instead of an external mixer. I don't know if the response would be as sensitive or exact, but the loop and effect buttons would be much more conveniently located. Has anyone tried this?

I use a LCD touch screen monitor and it works well for the effects ... but I combine using a external mixer for everything else... and I found that using a mouse for moving files to the decks is easier. The add on touch screen in your link will do the same thing and work for what you want.
