this is a clip of a dj screwing and chopping but there are parts of the video when he kinda brakes is but it kinda pulls and stays at the same pitch

he's just hitting the play button to brake, and then hitting it again, quite subtley. he's using the technics dz1200s which have exactly the same motor as the technics turntables, go the start up times are extremely fast.

Try to add the shortcut "hold" and assign to a keyboard button.

Hold is a simulator of hand on the turtable, with hold the track can't play to the start of the song but you can stop & start during the playing

Please don't spam.
Open the options window, and go to the shortcut page. Add a new shortcut with the "hold" function, applied to the deck you want. Press the key to be linked to the command... et voilà!
