Hi,
I think I know that in the beat grid, the #'s 1-9 are patterns you can save and the red buttons save the patterns.
I am still unsure about the grid itself.
Is the grid read/understood horizontally (as 4 rows across) or vertically?
If horizontally, what is the difference between the 4 major rows?
Thanks.

so are you saying the top row is like whole notes of beats, while the 2nd row is 1/2 notes, etc.
I'd' love more specifics if possible.
