in the browser section of a skin i modify, the program does not allow me to set size of a font more than 16. It crashes after that. No matter which font i use it crashes if choose size more than 16. Any help?

Correct it is a limitation of the skin engine.

Is there something i could read about limitation and other things about skins?.
I started modifying some skins, but i think it's time to create my own.
1024X768 it will be. How many pixels should the image be?

Did you try using regular fonts sizes.
Like don't use textfont size 25, use 24. Look at the sizes available in wordpad, i think those will work.
