hi , i have upgraded from 3.4 to 4.2
problem i have is that my mp3 database in 3.4 had all bpms detected
upon using 4.2 all bpm's in the database have been reset (or not showing)
can any1 offer some help with this
i would just re-do them all but i have thousands .........

just copy your old 3.4 database called Virtualdj database.xml, and write it over the 4.2 database called Virtuadj database (your windows login).xml

did you copy
mp3database.txt
virtualdjdatabase(yourname).xml
and virtualdjdatabase.xml
just to be sure aslo :)?

and have you tried clicking on your folders and pressing recurse after copying?

nope that didnt work ,
so from the start , i have my original 3.4 database still being used by 3.4 in another folder
i have copied said 3 files and pasted them into the new 4.2 folder
upon opening , all my tracks are listed but with no bpms

you may have to rename your 4.2 folder to virtualDJ when you are using it, and when you are using 3.4, yuour 3.4 folder needs to be renamed virtualdj. I am assuming you have a foldwer for ach version. If not, ignore what I just said.

Alsao, for SKY, when I hit on folders, many times the menu doesn't stay thereong enough for me to hit recurse, it sort of does it on its own, then the songlistings appear?
