Is there any way to add more sample numbers to a skin? I use my Akai mp24 midi pad controller to trigger samples. I have 4 banks of 16, but i am limited to 12 samples loaded. Use example - I was doing a Christmas party and someone stood up and anounced someones birthday. I did not have the Happy birthday jingle loaded, so i couldn't get to it in time. I wouldn't have to be visible from the skin. Does this make any sense?

Oh it makes all the sense in the world my fellow DJ. I personally don't think it's possible but maybe you could search, if you haven't already, in the midi mapper engine and look for sample assignability or sample options or something like that but I think that it's not possible. On another note do you know anything about how to map the UC33e midi controller? I am having lots of problems in trying for assign the numbers in the number pad to trigger the samples in their respective order and the faders to the sample volume but I can't do the number pad assign it only lets me set each number as either "absolute" or "relative" not to the "value" I never had this problem with my other midi controller the m-audio's O2. I would be able to assign the triggering of any sample to the keys but I would be able to control the volume of the samples cause it only has one fader and 8 rotary knobs that I already had configured for other things. Thanks.

It's something I've been asking for for a while now - for a sample manager built into VDJ itself - so that you could just select a pre-loaded batch of samples at short notice. (see my blog for details...) In the meantime, there is a sample manager plugin for VDJ in the downloads section...
