No mate im registered for mp3 dj control and my djmix station ,will the software be ok for the mk2 ?cheers.
 
i belive however you are ment to buy a pro licence if you buy a second hand console licence as the person who sold you the cd shouldnt have.

can you tell me HOW to update my firmware i have done the software update asdirected but im still getting directx sound driver error.

Hi Skyfxl, i used the link you gave me d/loaded the update which firstly uninstalled my hercules drvrs, i then rebooted reinstalled drivers , rebooted tried to start vdj ...then i get Directx sound driver error !!


i then checked my firmware in about in the dj icon in the taskbar it says

package; v1cmk2.2007

firmware v1.3.12.6

driver v3.4.0.0

dj api v2.0.7.16

cpl v1.4.2.5

am i doing something wrong ? thank you djamos.
 
Hi , i can see now why DJ Saud was getting frustated im am now, i had probs with my dj consul mp3 with vista i could not preview cued trak, so i thought i will buy dj consul mk2 to sort out my sound card probs and guess what i cannot use it ..directx sound driver error...i have followed all the instructions to the book and im still getting ....wait for it DIRECTX SOUND DRIVER ERROR..can anybody help a frustrated dj,thankx.

I am patiently waiting for conclusion of this thread because I have also ordered DJ Console MKII and is going to be delivered on Friday Apr 6th. I got it for the reason that my sound card did not work with Vista. I have never used VDJ (actually I have CUE), Vista or Hercules controller. I have managed to make VDJ work properly after updating my laptop from XP PRO to VISTA.
Now before installing Hercules MKII and the drivers and firmwares I am requesting step by step guidance on how to go about it. This thread and the others are so fragmented that I can not understand as to what I should do. I am not angry or upset - I am just anxious and want to make my system go.
Please help me.

New drivers are now available for the DJ Console mk2.

It corrects the problem with the firmware on Vista.

Hi,
finally i have got my dj consul mk2 to work on my vista laptop using the the new update from hercules
thank you for that,BUT.....i cannot get my vdj software to reconize the consul and because a registered user can only download the full vdj vista update a max of ten times i am now Fxxxxd .Ihave tried to update the software included with the mk2 with the patch from vdj ,but is does not work what i need is the full vista download but the help team will not allow me to d/l this anymore due to security reasons,
im a registered user and you woulds expect some understanding with a problem like this,

c,mon vdj help understand please,thankx.
