Yeah, first purchase VDJ. Also, chances are that both outputs play from the same soundcard (you won't be able to play independent sounds from each port).

2 x Headphone Out - 1 with SPDIF Digital Audio & 1 Stereo; <--- I just researched your notebook... [First I gotta say that it comes with Firewire, that's interesting, because that's mostly common on Macs. Does Vista support Firewire now?]

One of the headphone outs appear to be a digital out....and the other stereo. I may not be right about this, BUT I believe that 1 headphone out is designed to go to something that has like a Digital Decoder on it (a surround speaker system with digital in) You would have to use the Stereo Out. If you have VDJ hooked up to a mixer, you can have you RIGHT in Channel One, and LEFT and Channel Two and mix and preview with your external mixer. --OR-- You can have Left In channel one and Right in channel two and just use the second channel for previewing.

I believe in order to change the settings for your queing and stuff in the software, you may have to have the Pro Version or Home Edition -- Not the Demo ... Can anyone confirm that? I haven't used the demo in a while, so I don't have the answer to that.

OK ... lol the answer was right above my head ... In order to change the settings, you do have to purchase Virtual DJ.

^^ **Correcting myself** ^^
