Hi team

How about a function in the sample section enabling the loop running to be stored at the chosen sample location, and have the choice in sample to loop it continually or single fire in beat.

This will free up the relevant deck and in theory give the ability of having many samples looping at the same time..

Is this a possibility? I mentioned it once before in Atomix but i am hoping the flexibility of VDJ could make this happen..

well you can actually do it using two VDJ's into your mixer and line out of each going to line in of other, you then have four decks to play with.....

this would go a long way towards making the same flexibility in single instances of VDJ... far less complicated too!!!

I've tried the option above but it needs serious practice before going out live... it gets a little confusing sometimes......LOL

This is a feature Ive asked for before on the atomix forums. I think it would be really usefull. You could sample in real time and then play it back. Maybe with nice effects for example reverse, stutter, randomise etc.... It would be like a kaoss pad.

You could even set the pitch of the sample channel.

Great great, idea !

It can be as simply as this :
Just a shortcut key, or more (choosen by the user)
to upload the current playing loop,
from memory to a choosen sample slot
(using values etc...).
Then, the user can play live and quickly, sampling the
loops (samples still in memory-temp mode),
After the mix is finish he will go to the sample page
and store the individual samples he just created, or the whole set to the hard disk.

At this point i will suggest something more:
It is a good idea i think to have the option routing
the samples to a different output, for people having
soundcards with more than 4 outs (i use Maya Usb EX, 2in-4out)
thanks...and sorry for ny bad english...
